Look I Love: Off-the-Shoulder

Updated: Jun 7, 2020

Nothing says spring like effortless fashion. Off-the-shoulder blouses convey that sentiment so perfectly. You can find the flirty look in dresses, jumpsuits, swimsuits and even bridal gowns. The style is flattering for all body types and creates a fun, yet elegant silhouette. There's quite a variety of styles, which means you can have several off-the-shoulder tops without repeating the same look.

I found this off-the-shoulder blouse in Don Me Now boutique in Hyde Park Village and absolutely love it. I paired the top with white denim and camel-colored accessories to really make the blue color pop. I completed the look with a white floppy hat, which is an essential in my spring and summer wardrobe. It protects my skin from sun damage and instantly makes me feel chic.

Cold Shoulder

Off-the-shoulder tops can be dressed up or down, making it a great piece to transition from day into evening. With spring break, and summer travels right around the corner, I'd recommend throwing a few of these blouses into your suitcase. For a more casual look, pair with shorts and strappy sandals. Dress it up with skinny jeans and wedges or an open-toed heel.

So Clutch

This crossbody clutch made by Giani Bernini is the perfect size to carry all of your essentials. The clutch features a credit card organizer, a pocket for my phone, and even room for a lipgloss. From someone who often carries a purse the size of Mary Poppins' bag, I love how lightweight this clutch is. The camel color leather and gold chain make it a versatile and classy piece.
