Summer Staples: Off-the-Shoulder Top & Denim
Summer is officially here. That means backyard barbecues, pool parties, and beach days. The shift in season also signals a time for us to revamp our wardrobe.
In this look, I incorporated summer trends I simply can't get enough of-- and of course, that includes pom pom and tassel accessories.
There's no better time than summer to add pops of color into your wardrobe. I'm slightly obsessed with this multi-color tassel crossbody purse. It has quickly become one of my favorite statement pieces-- just wearing it makes me feel like I'm heading to a fun fiesta! I had been eyeing a similar purse by Rebecca Minkoff, but didn't want to shell out $245. I ended up finding this crossbody on SheIn for just $25. I wasn't quite sure what to expect considering the low price, but was impressed with the quality of workmanship.
This pom pom floppy hat was a T.J. Maxx find. I love that it has a drawstring band inside the hat so it can be adjusted for the perfect fit. I'm linking a similar hat available on Amazon by Betsey Johnson for $40 and a lesser-priced style for $18.
This look features two go-to pieces in my summer wardrobe: off-the-shoulder tops and cut-off shorts.
This white off-the-shoulder top is from Don Me Now, which is one of my favorite boutiques in South Tampa. It's designed by Timing and costs $40. I recommend pairing this top with jean shorts, ripped denim or white skinny jeans for a monochromatic look. The pink tassel earrings are also from Don Me Now. They're so fun and flirty! I'm linking a similar pair that are on sale for under $10.
I paired the top with my favorite shorts. It just isn't summer without a pair of great cutoffs-- am I right? These jean shorts by KanCan are super comfy, and so versatile. I'm linking a pair of KanCan cutoffs available on Amazon.
I have a girls' trip coming up next month, and I'm definitely planning on packing this off-the-shoulder top along with plenty of cutoff shorts like these.
Would love to hear your travel plans for June! Let me know in the comment section below. Thanks for reading!
