Transition from Summer to Fall With Chambray
Updated: Jun 7, 2020
What looks like denim, feels like heaven, and will perfectly transition your wardrobe from summer into fall? Chambray!
From off-the-shoulder dresses to button downs -- there are many ways to incorporate chambray into your wardrobe.
I love that the chambray dress can easily switch seasons with just a few accessory changes. In the fall, I'd definitely recommend rocking a pair of open-toe booties with this little number. I found this dress at Scout and Molly's in Hyde Park Village, but I've linked several similar styles below.
It's lightweight enough to wear on warmer days, while still looking perfectly put together. I'm always looking to add pieces that can be worn from day-to-night and this dress can be dressed up or down. Wear it with a pair of flats to go casual or strap on a pair of heeled sandals for a dressy look. As an added bonus, it's super comfy!
Whether you're grabbing brunch with the girls or going out for date night, this is an effortless look. I often get questions about certain styles for different body types -- I love that these dresses are flattering options for all shapes and sizes. I always make an effort to find styles that we can all feel confident in. If you want something more fitted, I'd opt for the bottom two -- they'll define your natural waistline more than the off-the-shoulder options, which are a looser fit.
Ladies -- you cannot go wrong with any of these dresses! Chambray all day!
