5 Summer Beauty Must-Haves

Updated: Jun 8, 2020

Summer is here, which means it's time to switch up our beauty routine. Boating excursions, poolside parties and beach days call for light, fresh and easy-to-use products.

Here are five beauty products I keep in my beach bag at all times.

Fresh Vitamin Nectar Antioxidant Glow Water

Consider this an instant pick-me-up for your face. It’s an alcohol-free, multivitamin face mist that delivers a brightening boost of antioxidants for a healthy-looking glow. A quick spray of this mist gives my skin a dewy, and smooth look.

Plus, it smells incredible! I use this as a hydrating skin refresh while I'm out in the sun, but also as a primer, and setting spray when I'm wearing makeup. The ingredient list is what first sold me on this product and trust me, it delivers. Enriched with vitamins C, E, and B5, it protects against free radicals for healthy, hydrated skin.

Bare Republic Sunscreen

I’m always looking for quality products to protect my skin from sun damage. Bare Republic’s mineral sunscreen spray is super sheer and light, but keeps up with all my outdoor adventures. It has antioxidant-rich hydrators including grape, raspberry and carrot seed oils to leave my skin feeling moisturized and refreshed. Plus, the coco-mango smell is amazing! Did I mention, it’s vegan and reef-friendly?

It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin

My hair is naturally curly and tends to get very frizzy. This treatment makes my hair more manageable in high humidity, while also making it stronger and healthier by replacing lost protein with every use. It can be used on wet hair for extra shine or dry hair in place of a styling cream. I love that it protects the natural keratin in hair. This product detangles, defrizzes and adds shine. When I use this product, my hair always feels extra smooth and silky.

Hoola Bronzer

I love wearing a bronzer for a natural, sun-kissed look. One of my all-time favorite bronzers is Benefit's Hoola bronzer -- it flatters any skin tone, and blends seamlessly. I usually brush it over the apples of my cheeks, across the bridge of my nose, and on my temples. Basically, cover the areas where the sun naturally hits your face.

Application tip: Trace the number three on the side of your face with a bronzer brush— starting at the top of your temple, going in to hit the top of the cheekbone, and finishing along the jawline.

Pixi by Petra Shea Butter Lip Balm

This lip balm keeps my lips hydrated and soft, but also adds a touch of color. This brand comes in 5 different colors. I love it in Pixi Pink and Sweet Peach.
