Choosing the right baby bottle
Updated: Nov 6, 2020
If you’re an expecting mama, you know the options for baby products seem to be endless. As a first-time parent, it can be overwhelming!
When I was putting together our registry, I asked for advice from fellow moms. I received raving reviews about MAM's bottles. Upon my own research, I found MAM was featured on BabyList’s “best bottle” list.
While I can't fully review this product until our baby arrives, I can tell you I have complete peace of mind with MAM's Grow with Baby Easy Start gift set. Why? It's a an anti-colic bottle set that will adapt to my baby’s feeding needs as she grows. Complete with different bottle sizes and nipples. Newborn and slow flow nipples are designed for newborns and younger babies and provide a slower flow of milk or formula so baby won’t gulp too much, too fast. Faster flow nipples are designed for older babies who have bigger swallows and can handle a faster flow of liquid.
Although I hope to breast feed, I know a trusted bottle set is a must-have for every mom. When I read reviews of MAM's anti-colic bottle, many moms said it was accepted quickly by their breastfed babies with no issues going back and forth between breast and bottle feeding. If your little one is taking some or all of their meals from a bottle, you’ll want to be sure to select the right bottle brand for you―one that won’t interrupt those peaceful moments with leaking, air bubbles or collapsing nipples.
MAM's patented anti-colic bottles are designed to make feeding a more comfortable and calm experience for newborns. They also have wide openings on both the top and bottom to make cleaning easier. It's actually a self-sterilizing bottle. Simply screw off the base and fill it with water, insert the nipple and screw it back in, then heat the bottle in the microwave for three minutes. Genius!
The interchangeable parts are easy to use and the bottles are extremely lightweight. Needless to say, I was thrilled when my set came in the mail this week and already have it ready to go in our pantry.
When deciding what brands to use with my baby, I first and foremost consider how each product is made. For over 40 years, MAM has been developing products along with medicine experts to support the individual development of every child and make everyday baby life easier. Sounds like a win-win for parents and babies! When we put this bottle set to the test, I will offer a full review.
