My Favorite Baby products
Updated: Aug 27
I can hardly believe that Sophia will turn one this month. Many of you have reached out asking about my most-used baby items. Now that we are almost through our first year, I feel I can honestly share the items that have been the most useful and loved.
I've talked about many of these items before on my Instagram. But thought I'd compile a helpful shopping list you can share with family or any other expecting and new mamas.
I'd love to create a series of posts with baby product recommendations depending on the feedback I get from y'all. For now, starting off with items I truly relied on throughout this first year, from week one to 52.
Lovevery Play Gym I cannot express how much I love Lovevery's products. We used this play mat from our first week and are still using it a year in. From tummy time, to a play fort, this play gym supports your baby's physical, cognitive, visual and motor learning. From lifting their head as a newborn to hide-and-seek as a toddler, it's a whole year of fun learning!
Hatch Baby Sound Machine This is the perfect night light and white noise machine all in one. I have to say this helped Sophia AND myself sleep while she was in the bassinet. Now it's in her nursery and I miss it, haha. You can customize color, brightness, sound, and volume level. Set programs to turn off and on automatically based on your family’s sleep schedule. All while managing from your phone.
UppaBaby Vista This stroller is the gift that keeps giving. We debated this one because of the price, but trust me, it is worth EVERY PENNY. I love how this stroller grows with your baby. The bassinet was SO helpful during her newborn days, and it was great as a travel bassinet too. The lining is really soft and cozy. Plus, it is safest for newborn babies to be on their backs. Added bonus: I used this bassinet in the early months to go about my daily chores while Sophia came along. With the UppaBaby stroller, I knew Sophia was riding in safety (and style) from day one.
MOBY Wrap The MOBY wrap has been a lifesaver and provided such sweet moments! It allows me to snuggle Sophia while also being hands-free. I can catch up on laundry, dishes and emails all while having her close enough to kiss. For 6 months Sophia pretty much only slept while being held so this was especially amazing. Oh and studies have shown baby wearing promotes neural development, respiratory and gastrointestinal health. Now that Sophia is so mobile, we don't get as much use. But this wrap was used very often in our first 6 months.
SwaddleMe I loved these swaddles. SO easy to use and snuggled Sophia perfectly without extra fabric bunching.
The Ollie Swaddle A must have! Read my full blog post here and make sure to use my discount code.
Wiper Warper I didn't think I needed this, but honestly, this makes diaper changes so much more comfortable for your little one. I wish I would have purchased before Sophia was born! I linked the one we have because it also lights up and is perfect for those middle of the night diaper changes.
Medela Breast Milk Storage Bags If you're planning to breast feed, these are a must! These bags make it easy to store, and thaw milk. Plus, they save space in your fridge.
Hatch Baby Changing Pad We had so much fun tracking Sophia's weight while changing her diaper. Plus it gave us peace of mind knowing she was getting enough to eat and gaining well! You can save your baby's stats on the Hatch app to track his or her progress. This changing pad is easy to clean too.
Posh Peanut EVERYTHING If you know me, you know my affinity for all things Posh Peanut. From footies to mama loungewear and patoos (which is Posh's word for blankets). The bamboo fabric is incredibly soft and wears well. Use my code LIV to save 10 percent off your order on Posh Peanut's website.
Boon Drying Rack This makes drying bottles, pump parts and baby spoons a breeze!
I have SO many more product recommendations, but don't want to overwhelm haha.
